Document Description
The project consists of the retrofit of an existing bridge over State Creek in Cameron Park. The retrofit will require temporarily supporting the bridge deck with wooden posts. The existing concrete columns will be domolished with a jackhammer and steel reinorcement will be cut with a reciprocating saw. Holes will be drilled in the existing footings and dowel bars used to connect the existing footing to the new columns. Steel rebar cages and formwork for the new columns will be assembled in place. Ready-mix concrete will be trucked in and pumped from the bridge above, into the formwork.
