Document Description
The project will consist of the following components: 1) removal of approximately 4.0 cubic yards (cy) of existing silt trapped upstream of the concrete encasement using hand tools; 2) removal of existing concrete footings by hand (approximately 8 cy total); 3) installation of a concrete cap and footings (approximetly 10 cy total); 4) temporary installation of Geotextile fabric to cover the concrete, in order to prevent contact between newly placed concrete and water, while the concrete is curing. Construction is anticipated during the summer low flow season when water is not expected to be flowing in Nathanson Creek.
