Document Description
Project consists of the following improvements: Addition of a sixteen inch diameter, approximately twenty-three foot deep well with two new 140 gpm submersible well pumps with variable frequency drives. Installation of four flow meters and modulating flow splitting control valves downstream of each slow sand filter, replacement of the existing thirty-four foot diameter twenty-four foot high bolted steel water tank with a storage capacity of 143,900 gallons with a new forty-six foot diameter thirty-two foot high welded steel tank with a storage capacity of 364,000 gallons and the addition of a 75kW propane electricity generator with an automatic transfer switch to provide on site emergency power to the Water Treatment Plant and the Raw Water Pump Station in the event that primary power is lost.
