Document Description
The Mormon Slough Bridge Slope and Channel Improvement Feasibility Study Project consists of drilling eight exploratory 8-inch diameter and 10-foot deep borings along the channel bottom of Mormon Slough and transferring an area 1,000 feet west of east of Mormon Slough Bridge. Borings will be drilled using a track-mounted drill rig equipped with a continuous flight, hollow stem 4-inch inner diameter, 8-inch outer diameter auger. Test borings were determined to be necessary to gather soil and geologic data to support the proposed channel restoration design study.
