Document Description
The proposed project will include improvements to the existing 41,700 square-foot (s.f.), 45-ft. high Humanities Building to provide disabled access to all three building levels in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Access will be provided by an exterior elevator access within a 2,100 square-foot elevator tower 34-feet high, extending outward from the southern facade of the existing building: new accessible bathrooms will be included on each floor. Additional improvements include: a replacement roof for existing Outdoor Art Workshop; replacing an existing 540 s.f. storage built in 1985 with a code-complying storage area within the same development footprint that extends from the eastern facade of the exisitng Humanities Building.
