Document Description
Replace the failing roof of the Maintenance Shop at Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park to protect the historic resource. Work will remove the existing roof and inspect the skip-sheathing boards and rafters for damage and/or dry rot; then replace damaged materials in kind. Install the new shingle roof of cedar wood shingles roof with a 5-1/2" reveal with a double starter course. The project will document the project with photographs, and as necessary in writing, before, during and after the repair work. Project work will occur prior to March 15th in order to avoid impacts to any nesting birds or bats utilizing the roof.
