Document Description
The Land Use Plan Amendment (LUPA) focuses on upgrading and adding to existing park facilities. Proposed activities include: minor utility infrastructure improvements at an existing group camp, development of a new picnic area and an informal mowed area that may be used for parking for small special events, development of three backpack camp sites, incorporated of 24 miles of existing unpaved roads and trails into the trail system, completion of four miles of trail modifications and new construction, construction of bypass channel upstream of Jordan Pond, restoration of Newt and Jordan Ponds to increase their water-holding capacity and to improve habitat for native amphibians, and minor improvements to an existing service yard.
