General Apartment District (R-4) with two Historic District subarea designations - River Way Subarea and Resort Subarea
The applicant is requesting approval of several entitlements for development of the Leidesdorff Village Mixed-Use project, including a Rezone, Zoning Code Text Amendment, CUP, and a Planned Development Permit. The proposed mixed-use project would be developed in two phases. Phase I would include 36 condominium units fronting the Leidesdorff Street right-of-way (five of the units would be retail live/work spaces), a centrally located clubhouse building, and two detached single-family homes that would front Sutter Street. Phase II would include 31 studio apartments and 5,785 s.f. of retail within a two-story building fronting the Leidesdorff Street right-of-way. Additional proposed site improvements include: underground utilities, drive aisles, a trash, recycling enclosure, a common pool, site lighting, and landscaping.
