Document Description
LCSD proposes to relocate its infiltration gallery (formerly owned and operated by the Lewiston Valley Water Company) to a location ~2,800 feet downstream of the existing intake in Lewiston, California. The proposed infiltration gallery would be constructed in a large gravel bar built in August 2008 as part of the United States Bureau of Reclamation's Trinity River Restoration Program. Water would be piped from the infiltration gallery to a new raw water pump station and, from there, into a 2,675 foot long raw water pipeline that leads to LCSD's existing water treatment plant (WTP). There would be no modifications to the existing WTP.
