Document Description
The purpose of the project is to decommission the existing PV-WWTF and to transport wastewater flows from the Penn Valley service are to the LWW-WWTF. The force main will consist of two approximately 6-inch diameter pipes installed a joint trench. The pipes will be installed at a depth of approximately three to four feet on average. Deeper or shallower installation may be may be required to accommodate existing drainage culverts and other utilities. The proposed sewer force main alignment would be located completely within the existing road right-of-way and utility easements. Generally, the force main would be located in the paved roadway or along the gravel shoulder. This location will minimize effects on adjacent property owners and the natural environment.
