The project proposes construction of an approximately 24,387 s.f. addition to the existing 13,800 s.f. Cypress Grove Chevre creamery building to provide additional floor space for processing goat milk into dairy products, principally goat cheese, and associated improvements to meet operational and state/federal food and sanitary standards. The project comprises two main components: 1) proposed building addition and related site improvements; and 2) future expansion. The proposed building addition comprises: a 19,807 sf processing facility; 1,600 s.f. office floor space; a 900 sf cooler building; a 1,333 s.f. tank building; a 1,197 s.f. utility building; and a proposed 4,200 s.f. truck receiving canopy structure adjacent to (east of) the addition. The height of the proposed building addition would be approximately 28 feet.
