Document Description
Foundation Windpower is proposing to construct and operate two UI certified 1.6 XLE General Electric wind turbines, each measuring 397 feet in overall height, at an existing Cemex Cement Manufacturing Plant located at 16888 North E Street, Victorville, CA. The wind turbines will be the first alternative energy system on the property. Each wind turbine consists of a three-bladed wind turbine on a tubular steel tower with a hub height of approximately 297 feet. The rotor diameter is 200 feet and the rotor radius is half that amount. The system will include a wind turbine generator, transformer, switchgear and metering panel. The preliminary project footprint of the wind turbine foundation will be approximately 800 s.f.
