Petitioners from the northern portion of the unincorporated community of Rocking Horse Ridge II located in North Tustin, CA want to transfer inhabited territory from the Orange Unified School District to the Tustin Unified School District. The southern portion of the gated community currently falls within the TUSD. The transfer of territory would shift school attendance boundaries from OUSD to TUSD jurisdiction. The "project" as defined for this environmental review involves only the environmental consequences of changing the school district attendance boundaries as described previously.
