The IS is for General Plan Amendment No. General Plan Amendment No. 2012-001, which is proposed amendment to the Town of Apple Valley General Plan Circulation Element modifying Figure 11-6 "General Plan Street System". The proposed amendment will provide for the future extension of Apple Valley Road between Falchion Road and Stoddard Wells Road; modify the designation of Wato Road between Apple Valley Road and Dante Road from local road to major road. The modification is necessary to accommodate the changes to the design of the first access point of the High Desert corridor east of the I-15 interchange.
