Document Description
The proposed 42nd Avenue/High Street Improvement Project includes widening and realignment of local streets, connector roads and ramps in the vicinity of the I-880/High Street interchange, in conjunction with Caltrans' High Street Overhead Seismic Retrofit Project. The right-of-way needed for these improvements requires acquisition of portions of properties and/or easements from up to 16 separate parcels. A Resolution of Necessity is the City's formal decision to acquire property by eminent domain, and it must be adopted before the City can commence an eminent domain action in court.
