Document Description
The project will add a traffic signal at the intersection of State Route 82/El Camino Real and Clark Avenue in the City of Mountain View. The project also includes adding ADA compliant ramps, extending the raised concrete median into the intersection, overlaying pavement with asphalt concrete and restriping the pavement.

Reasons for Exemption
The project improves safety on an existing highway and involves no expansion of use. All of the work will take place in Caltrans right of way. The project is designed to avoid adverse impacts to water quality. There are no threatened or endangered species in the project area and measures are included to protect migratory birds. There will be no community, air quality or noise impacts or impacts to cultural or paleontological resources.
