A Categorical Exemption Class 11 (CEQA Guidelines Section 15311) consists of construction or placement of minor structures accessory to existing commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities, including but not limited to on-premise signs. The project consists of a 12.88 square foot sign on the front entry way of the Innovative Realty business of 9030 Elk Grove Blvd. The proposed signage would be exempt under Section 15311(a). No other special circumstances exist that would create a reasonable possibility that the proposed project will have a significant adverse effect on the enviornment. Therefore the project qualifies for a Class 1 exemption and no further enviornmental review required.
