Document Description
The proposed project is to reduce overgrown clusters of Greenleaf Manzanita, and a suppressed understory White Fir and Jeffrey Pine Conifer Trees by means of hand crew thinning. Brush thinning will be performed by creating assorted mosaic sizes of ladder fuels and to improve forest health. A contracted 6-man crew would be involved in the entire project would be used from start to finish. This crew would do all the cutting with chain and pole saws. The biomass disposal would be treated with the following methods. 1. Chipping 2. Pile burning.
