Document Description
The project consists of the implementation of a Remedial Action Workplan (RAW) prepared by ADvTECH Environmental in 2008 for the groundwater operable unit for the Former Dinuba Manufactured Gas Plant (Dinuba MGP) site, [APNs #017-192-011 (Base) and #017-0192-010 (Church)], hereafter referred to as "the Site". This RAW calls for a Monitored Natural Attenuation (MNA) remedial approach to the groundwater operable unit at the Site. The RAW discusses remedial alternatives and the selection of a remediation alternative that meets the criteria of effectiveness, implementability, and cost effectiveness pursuant to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), and the State of California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) guidance for RAWs. The alternatives evaluation discussion lists the four remedial action alternatives considered in the Feasibility Study (FS) report prepared by ADvTECH Environmental in 2005 and describes the preferred remedial action alternative selected for the Site.
