Document Description
The purpose of the RAW to address volatile organic compunds (VOCs) in an approximately 13 acre foot parcel of soil at the Honeywell Turbo Technologies facilty site (Site) by implementing a soil vapor extraction (SVE) system. The Site investigation history was summarized in the Supplemental Extended Site Characterization Report (Report), dated October 2008. The SVE was selected after a soil vapor extraction pilot and batch test, reported in the CH2MHill;s Site Vapor Extraction Pilot Test Report dated 2010 and Batch Test Report dated 2011, successfully operated at the Site. The SVE is expected to reduce VOC source material in the deep vadose zone soil and soil gas .
