Document Description
This project consists of removing the existing 1980's vintage 12'x60' modular building which acts as a reception area, visitor center, non-profit sales area, and sector office located at the entrance to the Idyllwild campground. It will be replaced with an approximately 24'x60' modular in the same location. The replacement modular will match exterior horizontal siding and brown and green colors of the adjacent CCC-era historic structures (ranger residence, garage, and shop) to better complement the CCC park rustic design than current structure. All construction will be limited to areas currently developed; there will be no disturbance to previously undisturbed areas.
