Document Description
CDFG is intending to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (SAA# 1600-2011-0329-R5) to the project applicant, City of Laguna Beach. The project will compact the soil and debris of approximately 150 linear feet of the most rapidly eroding area within the drainage feature/burn dump. Steel mesh reinforcement material and shot-crete will be applied to the bed and banks of the ravine up to a height of five-feet from the channel invert. The steel mesh reinforcement material and shot-crete will be applied upstream for approximately 150 linear feet to contain future flows and protect the surrounding debris laden slopes from erosive forces. Four velocity dissipating elements will be installed within the channel in addition to a rock-lined erosion protection mat at the downstream end of the 150-foot shot-crete lined section of streambed.
