Document Description
The North Coast Regional Water Board has adopted a regulatory program for existing cow dairies in the North Coast Region, including the following Orders: R1-2012-0002 (General Waste Discharge Requirements (WDRs)). and R1-2012-0003 (Conditional Waiver of WDRs). The purpose of this regulatory program is to comply with state law, including the Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act. The North Coast Region did not previously have a Dairy Regulatory Program; the project provides permit or waiver coverage of existing dairies in the North Coast Region.
