Document Description
This project involves the approval of a Removal Action Workplan (RAW) by the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) pursuant to Health & Safety Code, chapter 6.8, as submitted on June 13, 2011 by Tetra Tech, Inc., on behalf of Southern California Gas Company and Southern California Edison. The RAW focuses on excavation and removal of impacted soil, the segregation and proper onsite or offsite management of cobbles and boulders; and implementation of land use covenant, as necessary, to mitigate onsite soil impacted with excessive levels of carcinogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, lead and total petroleum hydrocarbons.
