Document Description
Warehouse/resource center for textbooks and other educational resources for the Mt. Lassen Charter Independent Study Program. The use is conducted within approximately 2,235 s.f. of leased space, located on the first floor of the existing telecommunications building. School functions will be performed at other locations, and no parents or students will be at the site, other than to pick up learning material and assignments. Approximately three visits will be made by students and/or parents each day of operation (Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). The center will be run by two staff members. Individual tutoring or group tutoring will be done at the Susanville Public Library, Lassen College and other public facilities or private homes that fit the needs of the students.
