The Herlong Public Utility District (HPUD) proposes to provide potable water service to the existing Sierra Army Depot (SIAD) customers that lie outside of the SIAD security fence in Herlong, CA. The project area is located in the unincorporated community of Herlong in Lassen County, CA. Customers that would be disconnected from SIAD service and connected to HPUD service include the wholesale connection to West Patton Village Community Service District, a SIAD Gym, a SIAD Laundromat, a SIAD Bowling Alley, two Lassen County Local Reuse Authority (LRA) irrigation services, and one Fort Sage Unified School District irrigation service.
