Document Description
The proposed work will replace an existing wet crossing through Mill Creek with a bridge. An existing downstream rock weir will be removed to allow the creek to reestablish a more natural geometry. Construction of the bridge will take place within the riparian corridor. The new bridge has been designed to avoid the maximum number of trees possible. Additional avoidance measures including after public review have reduced the number of trees affected to 8. Mitigation planting will occur in the disturbed area and on adjacent flood benches. Measures will be implemented to avoid impacts on special-status species during project implementation.
