Document Description
Request to create three parcels of 166, 10, and 94 acres from two parcels with a combined acreage of 270 acres. The 10-acre parcel, which will house a proposed walnut buller, is being created in conformance with County Code 21.20.060 which permits smaller parcels in conjunction with an approved use permit. The walnut huller will be located on land currently utilized as range/pasture land, but will be utilized for the existing walnut orchard farm operation. Construction of the hulling facility will occur in two phases. Phase I is proposing a roof only 11,675 sf huller building with an attached 15,120 sf dryer building, 30,000 gallon propane tank, and a storm drain pond. Phase II is proposing to construct a 20,000 sf future dryer building.
