Document Description
This proposed project involves replacement of the West Mission Bay Bridge with two parallel bridges set 40 ft apart from each other. Each structure would be approximately 63 ft wide consisting of one 14 ft wide lane, two 12 ft wide lanes, an 8 ft shoulder and a 12 ft wide bike lane/pedestrian path protected by a 1.75 ft wide concrete barrier. The project will result in impacts including temporary impacts to 2.75 acres of tidal riverine mudflat habitat and 0.03 acre of southern coastal brackerish marsh habitat; and permanent shading impacts to 2.68 acres of tidal riverine mudflat habitat and 0.002 acre of southern coastal brackish marsh habitat which will be mitigated by implementation of the Wetlands Mitigation and Monitoring Plan for the project.
