Document Description
Repair and replace falling foundation and flooring supports for residence #13, and bring the building within compliance with the current California Building Code. Work will include removing existing exterior concrete slabs from the edge of the building to expose the outer perimeter of the current foundation, temporarily supporting the building to remove the north, west, and south perimeter foundation and stemwall, replacing with standard single story foundations and 8" wide stemwalls, reinforcing top and bottom with steel, establishing stable earth foundation and replacing all existing and adding approximately 20 isolated piers with standard footings, pre-cast post bases, pressure treated posts and hardware.
