Document Description
The Project consists of implementation of bank stabilization and restoration of riparian habitat. Approximately 1,300 linear feet of Arundo donax will be removed and approximately 4,500 cubic yards of substrate will be excavated in order to create 2:1 bank slope. Approximately 490-linear feet by 10 feet wide of angular rock will be installed on the lower portion of the bank. Riparian vegetation will be planted in order to prevent further erosion and provide wildlife habitat. Groun cover species will be planted using a broadcast seeder and scarified using a sprint tooth rake attached to a All Terrain Vehicle (ATV). Water will be present during the proposed work period; however, work will not occur in the wetted portion of the channel.
