The project meets criteria of a Class 1 Categorical Exemption "Existing Facilities" as a minor alteration of existing public structures or topographical features and negligible expansion of an exisitng use. The project also qualifies for a Class 14 Exemption: Minor Additons to Schools, a total of 7 new classrooms will result from the project; four (4) are replacement classrooms and three (3) new classrooms which will not increase the original school capacity by more than 25% or 10 classrooms.
