Document Description
Motorola Solutions, Inc. and the Bay Area Regional Interoperable Communications System Authority, a joint powers authority formed under California Government Code Sections 6500 et seq. (the "Authority"), entered into the BOOM Agreement, pursuant to which Mororola will build, own, operate, and maintain a Public Safety System. The Public Safety System will provide critical communications network infrastructure for public safety users in the San Francisco Bay Area region and will provide interoperable data communications during emergencies and natural disasters. The system will utilize interoperable broadband wireless 4G Long Term Evolution network and public safety spectrum allocated by the FCC to provide Public Safety users with new tools and capabilities to serve the Public.
