Document Description
As part of design surveys for the proposed construction of a bridge connecting Woodward Island and Bacon Island to replace the existing ferry, Taber Consultants will make eight drilled and sampled borings across Middle River to approximately 100 to 160 feet in depth. Five borings will be logged and sampled and three borings will be collected by the dynamic cone penetration test. The borings will be approximately 6-inches in diameter. All borings will be made from a barge mounted drill rig over Middle River. The Woodward Island Bridge at Middle River Proejct will temporarily impact less than 0.001 acre of waters of the United States.
