Document Description
The purpose of the project is to mitigate impacted tailings that exceed the project-specific human health risk criteria to minimize human exposure to the identified chemicals of concern (COCs). The site soil consists mostly of mine tailings which are left over from when the area was an active gold mine. The RAW proposes a remedy to address a five-acre section of the 65-acre site.
