Document Description
Remove invasive plants at Malakoff Diggins State Park Historic Park to recover and strengthen the areas native plant communities. At Humbug Creek, Lake City, Backbone, Derbec Meadow and the North Bloomfield Townsite work will: * Use mowers, weed whackers, and hand tools to cut down invasive plants at ground level. * Hand-pull annual weeds * Remove Scotch Broom (Cytisus scoparius) using a weed-wrench. * Remove Vinca (Vinca major or "Periwinkle") by hand using spaded forks.
