Document Description
The B Street Cruise Ship Terminal is divided into three main compartments wherein various functions and activities currently occur; Compartment A (baggage inspection and screening); Compartment B (passenger check-in and Customs Border Protection area); and, Compartment C (baggage claim, baggage screening and cargo lay dawn). The project is the replacement of 10 existing manually-operated solid steel roll-up doors in Compartments A and C, with 10 new power-operated glazed sectional roll-up doors and 10 security grills. The new roll-up doors and security grills will operate independently. In addition, one new grill will be added to one of the roll-up doors. The original steel roll-up doors in Compartment B were replaced in 1986 in a previous public works project and are not included in this maintenance project. However, the project does include the addition of a new grill to one of the existing roll-up doors.
