Document Description
The project includes mechanical and electrical work to refurbish and replace existing aging infrastructure at the Vacation Beach Lift Station. The objective of the project is to improve the operational efficiency and reliability of the existing lift station and associated collection system. The Vacation Beach Lift Station receives sewage from the adjacent collection system and the Center Way Lift Station and pumps it to the treatment plant. An interruption of service (e.g. failure) at the Vacation Beach Lift Station could create a collection system back-up and potentially lead to a failure at the Center Way Lift station and ultimately result in a sewage spill.

Finally, the project includes minor alterations to land that will not involve removal of trees.
