Document Description
Replace all existing wood shingle roofing, with new asphalt shingle material on the upper comfort station bathroom at Van Damme State Park to increase fire resistance of the building. Work will install the new composite shingles according to the manufacturer's specifications and will retain an appearance similar to the old wood shingles. A 1/2" plywood diaphragm will be applied over the skip sheating of the existing roof to provide a shear membrane and substrate for the new roof covering. Project will include limited, in-kind repair of rotted wood.
