Document Description
The applicant is proposing to construct a 360 ft 2 double sided off-site advertising sign adjacent to Hwy 29. The top of the proposed sign will be approximately 35 feet above grade and 18 feet above the surface of Highway 29. The ground surface where the billboard will be constructed is approximately 17 feet below the surface of Highway 29. The project is located within the North Lakeport Community Growth Boundary. The project parcel is developed with a residence, existing commercial buildings containing an automobile restoration business, paved parking areas and driveways. The off-site advertising sign is proposed to be placed within the northern portion of the parcel north of the existing on-site commercial development. The proposed off-site advertising sign will have indirect lighting illuminating downward from the top of the sign.
