Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2012-0035-R2 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, City of Lincoln. Approximately 3,300 feet of sewer line will be installed in the vicinity of Ingram Slough. The sewer line is expected to be installed approximately 30 feet below grade, which is significantly lower than the bed of Ingram Slough. This section will not cross Ingram Slough or any water of the State. The City of Lincoln is requesting an issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement because the foregoing sewer line will be installed in the floodplain adjacent to Ingram Slough. The project in the Ingram Slough area will include excavation of the floodplain, placement of sewer pipeline, backfill of material re-contouring of the ground. While the stream bank of Ingram Slough is not intended to be directly altered by the installation of the sewer line, it is expected that there will be indirect effects to the stream bank due to the close proximity of the propose project. The project will include shoring and de-watering the trench during construction.
