Document Description
The Project consists of the adoption and implementation of the County's General Plan Update. This comprehensive update to the County's existing General Plan, adopted in 1984, is proposed in order to establish and implement new goals and policies for regulating development and balancing population growth with infrastructure availability, agricultural preservation, and natural resource protection. The updated General Plan includes policies that originated as mitigation recommendations, and mitigation monitoring requirements will be satisfied through the General Plan rrequirement of an annual report on progress under the Plan.
