The County of Plumas is the Lead Agency for the preparation of a program EIR addressing adoption and implementation of the County's 2030 General Plan Update (proposed project or Draft 2030 General Plan). This comprehensive update to the County's existing General Plan (adopted in 1984) is proposed in order to establish and implement new goals and policies for regulating development and balancing population growth with infrastructure availability, agricultural preservation, and natural resource protection.
