Document Description
The project includes a General Plan Amendment and Zone Amendment to designate and zone the entire site as Mineral Resource. It also includes a Use Permit for a 345-acre quarry with a 75 acre processing area for aggregate processing, Portland cement plant, asphalt plant, truck and rail loading facilities. At full production, the quarry would produce up to 2 million tons/year of aggregate. The project time period would be 100 years, during which time a Reclamation Plan would be implemented.
