There is also a 1,080 metal building that is used for a shrine on the property. The applicant is requesting approval of a conditional use permit to allow construction of a 7,200-square-foot meditation and community center. As proposed, the center will contain the following amenities: a meeting hall, a multipurpose room that will occasionally be used as a dormitory space, and four rooms for housing individual students for overnight stays for small meditation retreats.
