Document Description
The project consists of the stabilization and revegetation of an eroding portion of the east side of the Russian River streambank located within Riverfront Regional Park. The Project will involve the excavation of approximately 2,100 cubic yards of previously deposited/disturbed soils along approximately 275 feet of the top of the streambank. Soils will be excavated to create a 3:1 sloope at the top of the streambank from the vertical, eroding slopes that currently exist at the project site. All work will be conducted above the ordinary high water mark (OHWM), including excavation, slope stabilization, and revegetation.

Reasons for Exemption
Repair and minor alteration of public facilities and topographic features at the same site and with substantially the same purpose and capacity as the facilties and topographic features being repaired, and invovles no expansion of capacity. The project will involve the restoration and stabilization of the existing eroded streambank above the ordinary high water mark and as a result, will improve conditions that currently existi on the site, including fish and wildlife habitat, by minimizing potential future erosion of the streambank.
