Document Description
The scope of work is to repair deteriorating pavement, including cold plane paving conforms, dig out and repair locations of severe failure (grind and replace hot mix asphalt, and full depth digouts), seal cracks wider that 0.25", overlay with 0.2" rubberized hot mix asphalt (RHMA) (G), upgrade metal beam guard rail (MBGR) to current standards, replace asphalt concrete dike, place shoulder backing, and install rumble strips, repair any electrical facilities damaged during construction (generally detector loops), install pedestrian ramps on the approaches to the Sacramento river bridge and Mokelumne river bridges (no work on bridge itself), remove existing traffic markings and striping (they have to be removed separely since there is no open grade pavement being removed), provide limited profile correction of "bumps" at approximately 10 locations. No bridges are involved.
