Document Description
Re-route 900ft. of Trestle Loop Trail and replace with approximately 3,083 ft of new trail in Del Norte Coast Redwoods State Park to stabilize the trail for visitor safety. Work will remove and rehabilitate 900ft of failed trail and one failed bridge, replace the 900 ft section of trail with approximately 3083 ft of maximum 36" wide tread rerouted trial, manually construct trail tread, brush and construct structures using power tools; located concrete mud sill abutments outside of the stream channel to install a 30ft long weathering steel stringer by 5ft wide walking surface consisting of 3"x12"x6" redwood split decking to cross two drainages; construct handrails, diagonals, and posts from 4"x6" redwood with the top of the handrail height at 42" from the deck surface.
