Document Description
Las Posadas Demonstration State Forest (LP) is a 796 acre mixed conifer forest, zoned by Napa County as Agricultural Watershed (AW). LP is not open to the general public for recreation; however the 4-H club maintains a long term lease on a portion of the property for a summer camping area for children.
This project will treat 570 acres for the 795 acre state forest. Areas where potential impacts could occur have been excluded from the project area. The areas to be excluded with the use of portable fencing will be 100 to 150 feet away from sensitive plant species and 50 feet away from archeological sites. The goats will staty a minimum of 150 feet awa from the Las Posadas 4-H Camp.
