Document Description
Calaveras County (County) proposes to improve the State Route 12/26 (SR-12/26) intersection located in the Town of Valley Springs, Calaveras County, California. The project proposes to implement minor improvements to the existing four-way stop controlled intersection without changing the stop sign control. The project will restripe the intersection with 12 foot travel lanes, and bike lanes, providing for a free right movement from the northbound SR 26, will be widened to incorporate a free right movement. The project also includes a left turn pocket along westbound SR 12/26 onto southbound SR 26 with a storage and deceleration length of 540 feet. ADA ramps will be included at all four corners of the intersection.
